The five star review is more about the value, concept and Americana feel this location has.
Really I think the ownership keeps the pricing this way for the neighborhood to eat. There ain't much opportunity in that NW corner of Mass, and I bet they get a ton of business.
The food itself it your average sub shop fare.
The prices remind you of how the cost of operating a sub shop in say Boston, Worcester, Providence jacks up the taxes from the business owner to you.
Our $5.50 triple cheeseburger subs (only on Saturday) were just fine, really liked the interior of the place which also takes you back in time.
Friendly service, I almost didnt want to submit this review so those other tourists dont ruin it. -

We're new in town, and had heard this place is amazing.
No lie! The prices are almost unbelievable, the quality is A+, the menu options are just enough to be interesting and not enough to be overwhelming. I had my choice down to two and asked my friendly sandwich maker which one I wanted. She told me I wanted the eggplant grinder.
She was right!
Best grinder i have ever had. And this tiny itty bitty deli is right down the road from our place.

I've been eating here for over 50 years. I moved away 40 years ago but, I can never drive in the area without getting 2 Original Subs. 1 wet and the other one dry. It is always good to share at home later with family. It's kinda like baseball & apple pie you just love it.

There is a reason Angelina's is the first and last stop I make whenever I visit the area. Best. Subs. Ever.
Best prices anywhere and the bread they use is better than any other sandwich shop I've ever been to.
Wish they had one in Boston. If I could give 10 stars I would. Don't pass by without stopping in for the best sandwich of your life!! -

Local sub shop. Everything made to order. Quick service. Call and ask for specials. Sunday 8" original always on special. Great value for the price.
